From the “Welcome to Mattituck” signs on both the east and west entrances of our hamlet to Raymond F. Nine Park in the center of town., Mattituck is a great town to visit!
For our visitors, we have great restaurants, shopping, beaches, boating, wineries, and so much more. You can arrive by car, bus or train to our village, and whether it's great restaurants, wineries or shopping, there's something for everyone.
Now in our 65th Year, the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1961 by many members of the former Mattituck Merchant's Association is a dedicated group of local business volunteers with a goal of bettering the community of where they work and live, while helping local business to thrive.
Each year on the second Saturday of July, we hold our annual Mattituck Street Fair, In addition to a fun-filled family day, it provides the funding for our Mattituck Senior Class Scholorships Winners.
On the First Fridays of May thru October, The Mattituck Chamber of Commerce hosts First Fridays on Love Lane. This is a great community event featuring the best of the Mattituck area.
During the Winter Holidays, we decorate the main roads of Mattituck with Christmas Trees in front of each member's business.
On the first Saturday of December, The Mattituck Chamber hosts Santa's Bazaar Nite on Love Lane! Think of it as First Fridays at the North Pole with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Love Lane businesses, restaurants, and local vendors are out and stay open late. There's food, shopping, carolers and OF COURSE Santa will arrive with the help of the Mattituck Fire Department.
For our businesses and residents, throughout the years, the Chamber has worked with many other organizations and town government to make numerous improvements to our village, as well as the heart of our shopping district, Love Lane. From sidewalks to solar lampposts, the Mattituck Chamber has been a part of it all. At the Mattituck Inlet, nearest to Love Lane, docks were installed for easy access by boat to our downtown area.
